Ann's Teaching Philosophy

Concerts are a vital part of Ann Lampard's teaching philosophy. She says " To develop the confidence needed for a career in performing, simply getting up and doing it, is the best way I know." The concerts consist of a wide mixture of material, all suitable in style and range, but covering all musical genre, including everything from Bach, to Gershwin via Mozart and Gilbert and Sullivan! To be successful in the business a singer must be able to turn there hand to anything within their grasp. The evenings are a joy to see, with total commitment from each member, and everyone taking a certain amount of musical responsibility according to their developmental stage. The singers compere the concerts themselves, as a way to grow used to talking directly to an audience.
They really are worth the price of the ticket!! Judging by the careers of their predecessors you are seeing the stars of tomorrow.

Flora McIntosh soprano, left in 1998, a real Highland girl from London!
