hi Peggy, What a wonderful experience to share with all of us. I can appreciate Genes situation I have three daughters and it always made me a little edgy when the subject of sex came up. I would always say have you talked to your mother about the birds and the bees yet? My 10 year old, at the time said why? I know all about that stuff.......and she did. I remember when we got divorced I sat down and explained to them that I was leaving etc. and they more or less told me to "chill" cause all their friends parents were divorced too. I often wonder who the adults are in these scenarios.
I planted a wall of cosmos for Mom today, and picked her some flowers from a few  neighbors gardens. She is a glowing matriarch enjoying the attention she is receiving from all her children. My brother arrived today for the weekend and was here last weekend as well.We have been sprucing up the yard, planting a new lawn, and trimming the sea roses.
I always remember the line from the movie Little Big Man when Dustin Hoffman says "Grandfather it is a good day to die". I have thought for two decades now that those were very powerful words from a movie. Today I think we can also say             " Grandfather it is a good day to be alive."
All My love to all the Mothers of the world.
Pauly
