15T Hopper Wagon

Steel Body/Laser Cut Frames/Ball Bearing Axle Boxes O/A length 28 ins O/A Height (From Rail) 13.5 ins Wheel Base 13.5 ins The 15 Ton Hopper wagon is based on a batch of wagons built in 1910 and 1914 by Charles Roberts. The wagon can be built with or without a mechanical hand operated brake As with the other wagons it is possible to fit a vacuum or air brake cylinder under the body of the wagon if required. Drawings, castings and all parts machined and un-machined are available separately. The main body is steel and the seat is removable to allow the storage of tools blower etc. . The wagon is semi-scale and is suitable as a riding truck but I advise the use of foot boards if children are to ride on this or any of our ride on rolling stock. Measurements on the drawings are imperial but some of the fixings are shown are metric.
