Having worked in many of London's top hotels including The Dorchester,The Hilton on Park Lane,
The Sheraton Hyde Park,I would have to say that without a doubtThe London Marriott Swiss Cottageis the nicest and most welcoming atmosphere by far.
There is a very subtle modern approach very much in tune with today's thinking so much so that there are certain residents that actually own homes around the corner but would rather stay at the Marriott!!
This a gig I enjoy very much,A 3 night a week background residency Where I can indulge in some great music and the the residents appreciate it!Think of these names Jobim,Rogers and Hart,Al Jarreau,George Benson,Albeniz,Villa Lobos,Tarrega,Sinatra,Marvin Gaye and more,Yes I get to play all of them and also management show the utmost understanding that when a session comes in they allow me to change a night.
I have to say that Mr.Bowery the General manager and Mr.Regenhardt the food and beverage manager are a different class and if Musicians could meet more of them in the business the world would be a better place!
