ULTRA-SONIC @ THE METRO The old school night was on a Saturday, instead of a Sunday, because it was the only night u.s. could fit in.
Dont think it did the Metros books any harm, it was an early lock out as probably you would expect.

M.C. PETE 'Big Pete', 'Rogers' new chosen M.C did well on the night but probably knows he has a lot to live up to.
Any M.C. will always be shadowed by Mallorca Lee though, Lee was probably the best M.C. in hardcore history. You never know he might come back if he has a quiet spell with Public Domain, you can only hope.

Ultra Sonic appear to be as popular as ever, everyones still looking to get hold of their tunes, and their always being requested on the radio,('Tom Wilsons' show, on 'Beat 106'fm, Sundays 4-7pm. / 'Illusion FM' 100.8, most Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday mornings.) It's not until i'm selecting the best of tunes to stick in my sets, that I realize how many classics they've produced!

On the night it was more the novelty of being in the same room as u.s. more than anything else. I wasn't all that impressed with the choice of tunes they played and felt they had left out some classics. I suppose they were limited to the stuff they could play without Mallorca. Whoever did the sound test should have been shot. But still a great night and wouldn't have missed it for anything. Thanx Metro.
