I created this website to share, and possibly glean more information about my ancestors I
have traced my lineage back through my maternal grandfather, “Robert
Inman Cummings.” They lived in the northwest of England, in the former county of Westmorland, and the part of the West Riding of Yorkshire that became part of Cumbria My research is ongoing, I will update the web site as often as possible, if you think you may have a family connection, or have any further information or any photos please E-mail me, I would love to hear from you. NOTE: The counties of Cumberland, Westmorland, The Furness district of Lancashire, [Lonsdale north of the sands] and the parishes of Dent, Garsdale and Sedbergh in the West Riding of Yorkshire were formed into the county of Cumbria in 1974.
