Holmdale House Garden and Nursery is set in an acre of land, half of which consists of the garden which was begun in 2000, and surrounds the Victorian farmhouse and its barns.Informal mixed borders are planted to reflect the owners’ interest in unusual hardy plants and shrubs, especially variegated forms. The Nursery, set in a beautiful courtyard garden, sells plants propagated on site. Group bookings welcome. Opening soon: ‘Holmdale Curios and Collectables’, selling vintage china, glassware, fabrics etc.
