We Currently have 4 senior teams in two separate leagues:

1. 1st Team - Midlands region Womens Hockey League


2. 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams - Leicester and Rutland Hockey League

CLUB HISTORY & INFORMATION

Hinckley Ladies Hockey Club is a long established Club, being formed initially before the 1940's it took a break from matches during the war and finally emerged being called "Hinckley Ladies Hockey and Cricket Club". They played Hockey during the winter months and then took up Cricket for the summer.

A long standing stalwart of the Club was Mr Reg Hamson of Burbage, who was with the club from the beginning, he umpired for many years and even after he retired from umpiring you would often see him and his wife Marjorie plus their beloved dog supporting the teams from the side lines, he very generously supported the club financially and was made Life President. He took a keen interest in the Club's development and saw us progress from traditionally fielding two ladies teams to where we are today. We now field 4 ladies teams plus a junior section taking the membership to over 65 members.

The Club has now grown and developed beyond recognition!
