The First aid post is our last port of call. Here a multitude of activity goes on. Firstly in the summer months it is a first aid post and also the place to go to report missing children and any inflatables that are drifting out to sea. A group of volunteers from the Young Citzens Guild also help here during the peak season offering to give your children named wrist bands which are recorded in their book with your holiday address so that any strays can be quickly reunited with their families and helping the authorities scour the area for lost children. The disabled toilet is also here (the main toilets are across the road)
Outside the post is a tap which is useful for washing sandy feet or filling water guns from.
Just to the left of here you will also find a wooden walkway leading down to the beach.
The nearest car park to the Gap is behind the Beach cafe.
