Austy Wood Austy Wood is one of the largest woods in Warwickshire. It's popular for its bluebells, but the wood itself is mainly conifers and young birch and ash. It doesn't have the mature trees and the splendour of Crackley.

Ancient Oak on Bag End FarmThis ancient oak is on Bag End Farm. This farm owned by the Aunt of J R R Tolkien, and which was the inspriation for Bag End in The Hobbit.

It's probable that Tolkien knew this tree.

Packwood Avenue This is Packwood Avenue, a straight avenue two-thirds of a mile long, mainly of oaks, with some chestnut and beech, ending at the front entrance of Packwood House. This avenue of trees, and Packwood House, is owned by the National Trust.
