Haunted Calendar - July

Any July day, the ghost of a nun is said to appear in the cloisters at Exeter Cathedral, Devon, around 7pm.

1st - The church of St Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield, London plays host to Rahere, the founder of the original monastery and hospital on the site.  He is said to walk in the church at 7am on the 1st July.

5th - In Somerset, over the site of the Battle of Sedgemoor strange sights and sounds have been reported.

28th - At Borley, Essex, on the site of the now destroyed rectory a ghost nun is said to walk.
