WELCOME TO A NEW GENERATION OF CATFLAP The aim of the Hobbs 2000 cat flap, is to remove the breeding ground for flea’s, by preventing the flea’s getting into the house, at the flick of a switch. The biggest breeding ground for flea’s is the home due to the soft furnishings and carpets. Flea’s do not breed on the cat they hop off to find a dark warm spot to lay their eggs. It is for this reason the cat flap is designed to prevent the build up of flea’s in the house. At present one of the biggest problems with flea’s is that cats and dogs are becoming more and more allergic to flea bites. Why do chemical companies still insist on producing products which need to be ingested or carried round in the cat’s system to control the flea’s. This means the cat still has to be bitten by the flea, before the flea can be killed. Where is the logic?. With the Hobbs 2000 cat flap a flea control, flea repellent can be applied at the flick of a switch on a more regular basis, without the hassle of catching and scruffing the cat. The capillary action of the cats fur, draws the flea control down to the skin where the flea’s reside. The flea’s must travel through this blanket of control to get to the eyes and nose to drink. Applying the flea control on a more regular basis leads to a lower number of flea’s entering the premises, therefore preventing the build up of eggs in the soft furnishing, and carpets. Therefore reducing the cost of the overall flea control.. We do not recommend any one flea control. Any liquid flea control can be applied by the Hobbs 2000, simple remove the top of the flea control bottle, fill the built in reservoir, replace the screw in the lid of the cat flap to prevent children from playing with the device. Turn on once a week to apply the liquid to the cat from the back of it’s neck to the base of it’s tail. Then turn the device off. once the flea control has been applied. The main aim of the Hobbs 2000 is for flea control, although with a separate reservoir you can apply a perfume to your cat.

Hi I’m Bombay a long furred Birman cross Persian, named after a bottle of gin, I’m just having my weekly shower to control the flea’s. The owner switches the cat flap on, I walk through, it applies the flea control and the owner switches the cat flap off, and that’s me done for another week. It’ safe simple and easy to use. I have no worries.
