Who are the 'Valley'?
Gordano Valley Cricket Club is a small, friendly, village club in Portishead, on the outskirts of Bristol. We play in the Lyons Davidson Bristol and District Cricket League, Division Three.
We run one Saturday League Team, one Sunday Friendly Team and accommodate touring sides in the week. We have an Annual Family Tour in July, which has been held in Devon over the last few years.
Our club was formed out of the CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) side of the 1970's and is a mix of experienced and younger players.
There is the opportunity for new players within the club to play either competitively, or just for fun and wives/girlfriends and children are always made very welcome.
