Workshops
Hosted two workshops on comedy / writing (including festival opener); Writing on the Wall Festival 2003

Graeme Kenna first came to the notice of the public when, as a local politician, he declared his house a monastery as an anti – poll tax protest;
Press Quote “He stated that the members of the Order were himself, his wife, his dog and parrot, as he did not want to foist religion on the kids. When asked if the Order was celibate, he responded that since setting up the Order, he had not had sex with the dog or parrot.”
He started comedy writing in 1995, writing for Spitting Image, Hale & Pace, Russ Abbott, and Weekending, as well as The Full Monty. No, not the successful film but the unsuccessful Granada TV series featuring Caroline Ahearn, John Thompson, Rhona Cameron and Simon Day (with a line up like that, how did it fail? Possibly the writing…). He has contributed to The Viz, Private Eye, and Fortean Times. He featured in the 2002 Writing on the Wall Festival. He has contributed to a number of local Radio programs and is well known as a performance / written poet. He appears on a Coral video as a stag headed pagan. This led to brief anonymous appearances on the Brits 2002 and in the NME, which was immensely gratifying for a fat middle aged bloke.
He is an experienced MC and after dinner speaker / coach. He uses and writes topical material.
His set currently includes; Welsh Lesbian 14 year old boys on the internet, Surfs 99thstain. Guttering leaflet in Braille, and Xmas cards to my Mother-in Laws Ashes.
His wife twice ran over former PM Harold Wilson on her bicycle.

He has written this in the third person, which doesn't worry him, though it should.
