WILLIS ELLIOTT CUP

The Willis Elliott Memorial Cup a competition run by the club since 1953 for under 18 teams in the area. The competiton is palyed on a twenty over match basis with the final being held at the Glebe usually on the first Sunday in September. The cup came into being in memory of Mr A.E. Willis (Chairman of Whickham CC) and Mr W.E.Elliott (Vice-Chairman of Whickham CC) who died in April 1951.
