The Mooring is at Redclyffe Farm, adjoining the very special Redclyffe Yacht Club at Wareham on the River Frome. This lovely old club was founded by Percy Westerman the boy's adventure book writer. The Frome runs into Poole Harbour and thence into The English Channel with the Solent a short sail to the East and Lulworth, Weymouth, Portland and the West Country to the West. There are many other convenient anchorages in both directions.
