Ivanhoe was purchased new by Bernard and Audrey Mouzer and has been looked after with great care. She is much admired on the South Coast of England and in Normandy, Brittany and the Channel Islands.First launched in 1986 with Loyd’s Construction Certificate, Ivanhoe has been sailed and maintained carefully and laid up ashore during every winter.

The yacht is equipped with Autohelm GPS, Garmin 128 GPS and Autohelm 4000 Autopilot, integrated with a Raytheon RC520 plotter and Furuno Radar. There is a back-up Autohelm 3000. The instruments are operated from the bridge deck, allowing the skipper to stay on deck in fog and other difficult conditions – except for one GPS which is situated at the chart table. Log and echo sounder. VHF with spare portable aerial. V-Tronix combined VHF arial and hawk indicator. Firdell radar blipper.

2002 - 2007 Westerly Yacht headlinings can be a problem and some owners do a poor repair job at great risk to their respiratory health Our linings have been inspected and, where nesessary, professionally renewed in a highly satisfactory way by Roger Nantais of Wimborne - including full headlining renewal in forecabin and heads,
2003. The engine is very carefully maintained with advice and support by Bukh Diesel, Poole and in 2003 was given a major overhaul by Burgess Marine. This included new engine mounts, cylinder head gasket, sump gasket, cylinder liner O rings, exhaust manifold gaskets, front and rear crankshaft seals, big end nuts and the machining of valves and seats.
