I
am French and I have spent the last five years in England, including
three years teaching French in Maidstone. Well, I don't want to say
more because we will talk about this during a lesson. In French, of course!
My experience in teaching
I really enjoy teaching and I like to think back to my experiences as an
English student to help keep my teaching methods relevant and enjoyable to
the students .
I
never give you exercises based on translated English to French or French to
English. Indeed, whatever it is grammar or conversation we are working on,
your main objective is to be fluent in French. In other words, you want to
think in French. So, from day one, I will not give you any translation to do
whatever your level is.
Why do I teach French?
because I found that learning English was fun and I just want people
enjoying their French lessons. I am really enthusiastic in languages.
Just ask my husband and colleagues! They will
confirm that I enjoy sharing my French culture with other people. This
includes comparing expressions in French and English and exploring French
vocabulary and grammar. Moreover, having learnt four languages, I am
especially enthusiastic to create motivating lessons combining games, songs
and exercises.
How will I make sure you are improving?
I am really flexible and will all the time bring
innovative solutions to help you progress. The objective is to make you feeling confident in
French. Whatever we are working on, there is always a fun way to learn it.
