This is the site all ready to be converted
A few days before work begins: Tools for the job.....
And then, all hell lets loose: Monday. A bit of light digging............. (OK, a lot of digging!)
Wednesday. Drainage applied, and the laying of the first membrane........
Wednesday/Thursday. First lot of stone deliveries........
And everyone was working really hard:
...and by Friday, it looked like significant progress had been made (even in the fog):

They even arranged for a downpour the next day to ensure the surface was appropriately soaked!
