Animals are loved throughout the world and the vast numbers may seem to support this. But it should also be remembered that more animals have become extinct than those that exist today. Too many animals now are classed as endangered and if current trends continue more animals
could be lost. It is only due to national parks and zoos that many animals are still alive today.
