THEORY TEST:This test has to be passed before a pupil can book a practical driving test, there are two ways to prepare for this test.
1 You need to go to a good book shop Easons/Wh Smiths and buy the book: The DSA Official theory test, and read it many times over, it contains the official question bank of 1000 questions and answers.
2 We can rent you a cd rom which contains the 1000 questions and answers plus it generates as many mock tests as you want, so you can get a feel of how the real test would feel like, price £5 per week to rent.
TEST FORMAT
When you sit the real theory test it is a touch screen computer you are given 35 questions, the pass mark is 30, The other part of the theory test, is the hazard perception test, the computer will show you 15 video clips of real life situations, you have to click with the mouse on as many hazards which develop before they develop too far. once passed you recieve a certificate valid for 2 years, in which, you have to pass your practical test, if not then the theory test has to be taken again.
