Check out local bridal shops and  magazines for ideas to help you select your headpiece.

Once your headpiece is selected, start thinking about hairstyles that will complement the headpiece. Collect pictures and ideas to take to your hairstylist.

Meet with your bridesmaids and discuss hairstyles. Ask them to start looking through magazines for ideas and collect pictures to show the hairstylist.

Decide on any colour change or highlights for your hair. If the change is significant, try it out well in advance. This will help alleviate any last minute drastic change - leaving you feeling uncomfortable.

Consult with your stylist to make sure your type of hair will work with the style you've selected.

Once your hairstyle is determined, consult with your stylist on which styling products will best support the style. Start conditioning your hair for a healthy shiny look.
