Clarke on his secrets for glossy hair ... |
|
'Everybody
wants glossy hair but to get it you need to treat and care for
your hair constantly. The surface of your hair is made up of tiny
scales that, when broken, raised or damaged, give a rough finish
so your hair won't reflect light. Keeping your hair in tip-top
condition helps to keep these scales intact and flat, so your hair
shines.' |

3
steps to GLOSSY LOCKS |
-
For
maximum shine wash your hair every other day to remove surface
dust and dirt. Always use a conditioner, leave for a minute
and then rinse thoroughly, as excess conditioner can leave
your hair dull. Comb wet hair with a wide-toothed comb, not a
brush that can rip your hair.
-
Next,
blow-dry it straight with a pure bristle brush, aiming the
nozzle of the dryer down the shaft to help the cuticles stay
flat. If your hair is wavy or curly, boost the shine by using
frizz-control products.
- Finally,
give your hair a gloss with a silicone-based serum. You need
only the tiniest amount. If you can find a spray-on one, spray
the finest mist over the hair. It might be cheating but it
guarantees instant shine.
