What is the Round Table?

The National Association of Great Britain and Ireland was founded in Norwich in 1927 and now comprises of over 1200 local Round Tables.

An open fellowship organisation where the motto is "Adopt, Adapt, Improve". Round Table emphasises friendship, contact with others and through its activities develops and stretches the individual.

By broadening the individual's experience it provides skills and qualities which are brought back from Round Table to benefit business life. This is the challenge of Round Table.

Aims and Objectives

1. To develop the acquaintance of young men through the medium of their various occupations

2. To emphasise that one's calling offers an excellent medium of service to the community

3. To cultivate the highest ideals in business, professional and civic traditions

4. To recognise the worthiness of all legitimate occupations and to dignify each his own, by precept and example

5. To further the establishment of peace and goodwill in international relations

6. To further these objectives by meetings, lectures, discussions and other activities
