We have a separate club that runs each week for the children of the members attending. This club aims to teach BSL and Deaf Awareness to the kids through play and different activities. More importantly our kids, comprised of both hearing and deaf kids, get the chance to mix together and they get to do this in an environment where everybody is learning Deaf Awareness. This gives us a great opportunity to deal with some of the prejudices that can arise through ignorance of Deaf Awareness.

This year we hope to employ a crèche worker for those kids six and under and a deaf youth worker to work with the older kids. Although again our aims are important and the kids group has serious aims and objectives we hope to make it as much fun as possible with different activities i.e. trips , parties etc going on throughout the year.
