Bexley Squad 2006
The bexley squad did well at the recent London Youth Games fighting 31 other borough's!! Girls joint 2nd (4th overall) boys 9th FANTASTIC
The Mayor of Bexley Cllr John Shepheard presented Matthew with the "Try Angle" Award supported by the Bexley Education Business Partnership. Matthew is without doubt the MOST popular player in the club and is liked and respected by everyone and i can't ever remember Leigh , Kelly , Charlie, or in fact most of the club ringing me on the night asking how he got on because he was short listed to two people for the Award out of over a hundred people.All concerned were genuinely pleased for him.

This event was at the new K2 venue which is a fantastic venue!
Dave had a great day having 5 fights 4 going the distance (4 min) his 1st fight against a pinewood player was tactful and won by a yuko. the others were ippon,waza-ari. A bronze medal but more importantly points towards his 3rd Dan.
