Many
local events are going ahead. With 159+ cases of F&M in the county, the rate of outbreaks has now fallen to a level where it is believed that the disease is under control. Some events are still being altered or cancelled. Locally the Tavistock Cycling weekend is ON, as are the Torplex 200 and Devon Delight 100Km randonees. There is no roughstuff event this year. (This was in the main due to no organiser, but F&M has made is a definite cancellation) Tavistock Cycling weekend will be minus the planned roughstuff rides. Map reading may take the form of an indoor competition. The Treasure Hunt in July is ON. See EVENTS GUIDE. Riders are still urged to be sensitive to the situation, and to follow the guidelines isued by CTC/MAFF. TAVISTOCK CYCLING WEEKEND IS ON; Click HERE for details. |
