_____________________________POREC - Situated amongst pine tree forests and rich greenery, just 150 metres from the beach, the HOTEL KRISTAL is about 1 kilometre from Porec centre. The hotel has 237 rooms, all with en suite bath and WC, telephone, satellite television, and most have a balcony. Other facilities include an aperitif bar, tourist agency with currency exchange bureau, large-screen-TV room, buffet, grill terrace, outdoor swimming pool with heated sea water, and a childrens' pool. The hotel grounds also contain a grill restaurant on the water's edge, and just next to it a large sports centre, complete with tennis courts and many other features.
We found that, although some distance away from the town centre, it was such a relaxing walk that the distance didn't seem to matter. If we felt tired, there was always the 'malo tren' (little train) which travelled to and from the hotels and Porec town centre every hour from very early until quite late.
