The Cost and Terms
A full days walk costs £100 in total for up to 4 people in a group. Extra people over this number will be charged at £15 each. Maximum group size for safety and personal attention is 6.
What is included?
1/ Light refreshments.
2/ Personal guides.
3/ Individual planning.
What is not included?
1/ Lunch. This can be purchased at pubs along the way. Typical cost £3.50 - £5 for light meal, £8 - £10 for something more substantial.
2/ Entrance fees to any houses, gardens etc that may be requested by the client.
Booking.
A month's notice is all that is required for a walk to be arranged. However, 3-4 days is usually enough for a "spur of the moment" booking for a walk that is of Diane's choosing.
Payment on completion of the walk is in sterling cash or cheque. If the client cancels a booking less than two weeks from the due date, a payment of 25% of the total cost will become due to cover planning costs.
INSURANCE. It is important that clients have adequate insurance in case of accident. (There have been none so far!) Every effort is made to ensure clients safety but falls and slips cannot always be prevented.
