Are Religions a Cause of Hate etc?
             
  The answer is YES! When one religion teaches that other religion's are bad or against their God then this can cause hate & persecution. It gives the followers of a religion the justification to view others as evil or against them.

Christians too! Another example of
persecution & murder caused by
religious beliefs.
     
  Even the act of knocking on doors to tell people what your God says can cause hate. Let's face it would you like someone knocking on your door saying you will go to hell if you don't follow their beliefs?  
     
  And don't forget in the past many religions were not spread by knocking on doors. Many were spread by force. Many people changed their religion in fear of being murdered. This is how Christian based faiths were spread in Europe. Sometimes if a king or queen changed their religion the rest of the population were made to change their religion. If they did not they would be tortured and in most cases murdered. This is why Christian & Islamic faiths are around today.  
   
     
  If a Holy book says Pagans or Non believers are evil etc, or against god just because they don't follow the same god, doesn't this give the followers of this Holy book the justification to hate or view the
Non believers as evil?		  
   
   
   
       
 
How can we stop religion causing hate? The answer is simple: STOP TEACHING YOUR KIDS RELIGION.
The same answer applies to racism: STOP TEACHING YOUR KIDS RACIAL HATE.
