We were delighted recently to be visited by a bus trip from the Lincoln branch of CAMRA who brought with them a certificate naming us as their Pub of the Year 2008! It was a total surprise to us (and all the customers who were in enjoying a Friday night meal & drink) but very much appreciated, so THANK YOU to all the CAMRA members who voted for us.

LINCS FM PUB QUIZ

We took part in the finals of the Lincs FM Pub Quiz on Thursday 22 November 2007 at and were delighted to go into the lead with 21 points. Unfortunately our lead was short lived as our score was equalled on the following Wednesday, but not beaten. However, the other team were nearer on the tie-break question so we were pipped at the post for the title! Thanks to everyone who took part. Better luck next year!

GAMES ROOM

At last! The games room is now open! There is a pool table, dart board, digital TV and computer with internet access. Other things will be coming soon. Come along and have a game or surf the net. To get the room going we held a Junior Pool Tournament over the Christmas holidays. Eight youngsters from the village took part and the winner was Lee Wilson, runner-up Elliot Graham.
