Burley are just a short drive away as are Salisbury, Winchester, Swanage and Corfe Castle.

Christchurch with its excellent bus links to both. Boscombe itself has a large range of shops,

which will take you right into the centre of Bournemouth.

We are conveniently situated for flights from Bournemouth Airport and ferries from Poole to
France. The train and bus stations are only a few minutes drive away and road links with Poole,
Bournemouth and Christchurch are excellent.

The classic form of holiday accommodation in the UK is 'bed and breakfast'
or B&B. As its name suggests bed and breakfast is simply a rate where a hotel
or guest house will offer their guests accommodation for the night with the added bonus
of a breakfast meal the following morning.

Who are Liz and Roger Bickle?
|
|
Liz and Roger a relatively new to the hotel trade having only been proprietors of the
Clarendon Lodge for a few years. Before that they were both hard working teachers
from Morecambe in Lanacashire in the north west of England. Having seen both
of their children leave for University they decided to take the gamble of swapping their
regular income for the warm sunshine of the south coast and move to Bournemouth to start
their own business and open the Clarendon Lodge Hotel.

Having taken the plunge to completely change their lifestyles and location, Liz and Roger
now aim to put their hard work and energy into providing a high standard of accommodation for
their guests. With this in mind their principle aim is now to help their guests have a
wonderful relaxing and comfortable holiday by providing all their accommodation needs.
