SOLIHULL CHANDOS CHOIR

With a regular membership of around 100, this well-established Choir, conducted by Michael Savage since 1988, gives a minimum of 5 concerts a year, with a varied repertoire, at venues in and around Solihull. The 33rd SEASON commences in August 2003.

• Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesday evenings at St Peter's School, from 7.30 to 9.45 p.m. and new members are always made very welcome. Please ask to speak to a COMMITTEE Member.

• The Choir is keen to encourage new music and young singers and does so by commissioning new works, working with junior choirs and running a SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME.

Over the last 15 years, the Choir has given concerts in Germany, Holland, Ireland, and France. In the Summer of 2003 there has been a most successful trip to Besancon in Eastern France.
