Feed your dog well, but sensibly.

Choose a reputable veterinary surgeon. You
must worm & vaccinate regularly!

Exercise your dog regularly, but gently during
the first six months of life. Just around the garden is quite enough ~ you need to protect the developing hips.

Groom from an early age.

Give your pup attention, but also some of its
own space, to settle in to its new environment;
provide toys!

An unruly pet is no fun! Take your new pup to
a dog training class. Ask your vet for advice as
to where to go.
