~ Take Your Puppy To Your Vet ~

*This is a condition of our agreement with you
Please have your puppy checked over by your own vet ( at your expense ), within 72 hours of collection, as it would be unreasonable for us to accept responsibility for any problems with your new family member after this time. Our agreement below is validated only when the pup has been examined by a vet, within the stipulated time limit. Do ask your vet about inherited or other diseases associated with the Labrador Retriever. Both Sire & Dam have been hip and eye scored, but we cannot be held responsible for disease that develops later in life in your new pet, following a preliminary veterinary examination commissioned by you.
Of course we are always here to offer you advice long after the puppy has left us, should you require it.

~ Our Agreement With You ~

A contract of sale between the purchaser/s:
A. N. Other
& the breeders: Chris. & Anna Vaughan.
In the unlikely event that you wish to return your puppy to us, your request should be put into writing, explaining your circumstances. Obviously it would be unreasonable to expect a total refund of the full amount paid for your puppy. The deposit paid will be retained, because of the additional costs that would be incurred by us, in caring for & finding a new home for the puppy. If you decide not to collect your chosen puppy, the deposit will be forfeited.
In the case of ill health, proven by certified veterinary evidence ( within 72 hours of purchase: see earlier condition * ) to have been present prior to the puppy being collected by you ( & as a consequence it can be shown, in the opinion of the vet, that the puppy was unfit for sale ), a full refund will be made, as long as the puppy is returned in the same state of health as it was sold. We aim, of course, to sell our puppies in good faith, as fit and healthy pets, as far as can be determined by the layman. The offers of acceptance of a returned puppy are for a period of seven days, following collection by you of the pup. However, if you have extraordinary problems after this time, as responsible breeders we may still be able, although not obliged, to help.
Finally, we remind you that the puppy may become much loved by you, in a short time. We cannot be held responsible for any upset to you and your household, should the puppy be returned for whatever reason.
