The Labrador Retriever is famed for its versatility as loyal gun dog or delightful gentle family pet. Originating in Newfoundland, Canada, the Lab., as it is affectionately known, was bread as a retriever of fishing nets. Braving the icy waters, the Lab. would return to shore with the ends of the nets in its mouth.

We always worm our puppies, as noted in the puppy packs we give to our new owners. However, unless we keep your puppy a bit longer than the norm., new owners should arrange vaccinations of their puppy with their own vet. When owners pick up their puppy it will be freely insured with The Kennel Club, for six weeks. Registration of the pup, with The K.C. is important, should owners want to breed with their dog at a later date.
