The Ampfield Calligraphers meet on a Thursday between 10am and 12pm. The courses run 3 times a year, each course being a
total of 10 weeks long.
My classes are aimed at any level, whether you are a complete beginner or wanting to improve on the skills that you have already learnt, you will be made
to feel welcome. As my classes are fairly small I am able to give you one-to-one attention where required.
Each course provides you with an introduction to the basics of calligraphy and popular scripts. I also provide you with the opportunity to join in with
group projects e.g. A class calendar, Tea-towel (see image below). Ideas are also given for application of scripts and personal projects.
You are not required to bring along any equipment for the 1st lesson, during that lesson I will give advice on equipment/ materials required - Please feel free to
bring along any equipment that you already have.
The Ampfield Calligraphers is a small friendly group, with a good range of ages - Everyone welcome.
