I have just started this project (3rd October 2003), which will cover railways in general with a heavy emphasis on the erstwhile Caledonian Railway as this railway was very important in my local area of Kincardineshire and Angus in North-East Scotland. So, most of the pages will relate to the Caley (pronounced like 'Cally', not 'Kayleigh'), with other pages which will have details of other interesting railways, particularly those that I have visited such as the Severn Valley Railway and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in England, the Harz Mountains railway in central Germany and the Strathspey Railway in Scotland.
