DISTANCES:
A 5 minute drive brings you to the beach where there are restaurants with bars, pharmacy, supermarket and small shopping precinct.
The area is centrally located for trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, Granada, Mijas and Nerja.
1 or 2 kilometres towards Fuengirola you will pass La Cala, once a small fishing village. This village has a lovely sandy beach and several intimate bars and restaurants.
Approximately 1 kilometre in the direction of Marbella is Puerto Cabopino, which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa and is a popular venue for tourists who want to enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches. Some of the Coast’s most popular restaurants are located here.
Inland from Marbella is Istan, a typically Spanish village with narrow streets and white walls. From here you can see spectacular views across the valley.
Just outside the village the pure unprocessed mountain water cascades freely from the rocks down into Istan feeding the fountains.TRAVEL:
Malaga is the nearest airport, being approx. 30 minutes drive away. Gibraltar airport is approx. 1.5 hours drive.
A hire car is recommended for this apartment and there is a choice of car hire firms locally.
