I have done approximately 32000 miles. It was used regularly as transport to work as well as runs out. In my younger days my friends and I used to attend the bike Grand Prix's (always down South). I have also toured Europe on several occasions. We visited: Belgium, Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, and France. We had some great times with many memorable experiences.

I recall one year being very eventful. My friend was riding a Honda 900 in Montpelier in the South of France. After a long stretch of some high speed!!!! cruising, his bike started to run very rough, serves him right for buying a Honda LOL. We did not have the facilities to strip the engine down and so the bike was put into a repair shop. He had burnt two valves, and after an exchange of a great many Francs we were on the road again. Whilst waiting for the bike to be repaired the external awning of my ageing tent ripped in a storm. The inner tent was called an Igloo and relied on inner tube like affairs to keep the tent upright. Without the exterior awning the Igloo was exposed to the warm French sunshine. The rubber must have been perished and eventually the tubes exploded. We slept on top of the tent from that point onwards, fortunately, we only had few days of our holidays left. It is hard work on a bike but well worth it. If you get a chance do it, it is highly recommended. There were many more events, but I don't want to bore you with too many details.
