RESTORATION PROGRESS UPDATES......
Lancashire United TS8
CTF423 (fleet no 114) (Kindly donated to the group by Mr Roy Marshal) arrived at the groups garage on 4th March 2008. so far Urgent work has been carried out on the electrics and a has received a FULL rewire. work has also taken place on an engine problem, CTF 423 was then started for the first time in many a year and roared in to action, a problem on the Fuel pump govener was detected and has now been fixed. CTF 423 will appear out on the roads the first time in nearly 30 years in FULL wartime livery together with bomb blast nets on the windows at Hawoth 1940's weekend on May 17/18th. Restoration has now recommenced on Albion GWT630 after a 6 week break to sort out the groups TS8, All the timber and pannel work has been replaced as required, the vehicle has also had a FULL rewire together with a fully refurbished cab, work has moved on to interior, this should be done by the end of July, work will then turn to painting the exterior ready for launch at our runing day in October.**************************************
