NORTHERN SECTION. SEED EXCHANGE. INFORMATION. Stardust. The Northern Section runs a seed exchange where Primula and Auricula seed can be obtained at very modest cost. members are asked and encouraged to send any spare seed they have to our seed manager who then compiles a list of what is available for that particular year and sends out the list for anyone asking for a copy. Auricula seed and some of the rarer and choice Primula seed is often in short supply so this should be borne in mind when ordering. Seed Donors get priority [and we hope this will encourage all to donate seed] then orders are filled in strict order that they are received with no exceptions.
2004 SEED EXCHANGE
The seed Manager is now receiving seed for this current years exchange 2003 \ 2004 and if you have seed for this exchange you should send it to the Manager at the address below as soon as possible and to arrive with him no later than the 15th of December 2003.
The seed list will be compiled after this date when all seed is in and the seed list will be sent out early in the new year to all paid up members of NAPS who apply for a seed list by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the seed Manager. The seed list will also be found here on this web page as soon as it becomes available in the new year.
The seed list will terminate on the 31st of March 2004 and will operate on a first come basis with the exception of seed donors who will have their seed orders filled first, we hope this will encourage members to donate seed to the benefit of all members. To qualify as a seed donor you are required to send at least 5 packets of Primula or Auricula seed, seed donors also need not apply for a seed list as one will automatically be sent to all qualifying seed donors.
All Primula and Auricula seed will be gratefully received so even if you can only send 1 or 2 packets please do so, it will make someone very happy to get some of it I am sure, please ensure seed is sent in suitable packets with the seed type clearly and legibly written on them along with a note with your name address and any other relevant information, thank you.
