Wayne Belisle 36 Goalkeeper. “Wayna” is an excellent all round goalkeeper with a wealth of experience now in his 20 th season St James’s park. When big Wayna comes charging get out of the way he punches the ball harder than rocky hits the punch bag.

Brian Brooks 24 Goalkeeper. “Banksy” is a fine young goalkeeper in his 4 th season with Alnwick, Excellent shot stopper. Brian is a keeper by trade but when he plays outside Pele aint got a look in with his silky skills “OLA”

Neil Catlow 22 Defence. “Weasel” was signed from Berwick Rangers now in his 4 th season with Alnwick, has a left foot like Roberto Carlos and is lethal from set pieces. Neil loves his snakebite and black which sends him in to dance mode….Hello Cat, goodbye M C Hammer

Ross Young 25 Defence (Captain). “Langback” leads by example as club captain. A fine central defender, who reads the game well and is an accomplished passer of the ball. Ross is a tall lad and has an extra long back, long enough to do the ironing on!

Craig Henderson 24 Defence. “Craigo” is in his first season with the club signed from Spittal Rovers. Craig is a solid defender who is great in the air. He should be good to cos he is 6ft 2 but his hair spikes up to a good 7ft 3.

Bryan Murray 24 Defence. “Muzza” is a no nonsense full back that loves to get up and down the flank like Cafu. In his 3 rd season with the club now and loves a strong challenge he thrives on them. Muzz has an engine on him like a train and believe me Crazy Legs would have a go at racing an intercity 225.

Jason Belisle 33 Defence. “J” is a fine centre half with plenty of experience been at club for 15 seasons now. Extremely dangerous at set pieces. “Biggin” has a right foot like a cannon so a word for warning, if he runs to take free kick, I would advise the wall to get out of the way.

Ryan Copeland 19 Defence. “Benny” Promising young defender, Loves charging down the flank and likes nothing more than a good 50/50. His regular training session is running through brick walls and has a throw in like scud missiles.

Mark Henderson 28 Defence. “Hendy” is a solid full back with a cracking left peg. Its Marks first season at the club and has done a brilliant job. For a little lad he can put the cider away like emmerdales Shadrack.

Mark Cockburn 26 Midfield. “Booni” is a very skilful player in his 9 th season with the club. Marky is a very good midfielder that can defend and attack very well and link up with forwards. Just a little lad is Mark but gets called “Massive”…………any ideas?

Gary Patterson 27 Midfield. “Gazza” is a strong midfielder that gets from box to box very well and great in the air, now in his 6 th season at club. Never shys out of a tackle does the Terminator and after each tackle he mumbles. I’ll be back.

James Jeffrey 24 Midfield. “Jamesy” in his 3 rd season at the club now. James is an out and out winger who loves running with the ball at his feet on either flank. He would give a greyhound a run for its money if u set the hare away.

Ian Common 27 Midfield. “Com” in his 3 rd season at the club now. Ian is a very good player and can play anywhere across the middle 4. Great passer of the ball and could run all day this lad is a machine……run forrest run.

Gavin Keen 25 Midfield. “Wolf” is a new player this season and is a quick and very skilful attacking player who can really terrify defences. You have seen and heard of teen wolf…………..well meet Keen wolf.

Scott McMullen 20 Midfield. “Scotty” is a hard working centre midfielder who grabs plenty of goals as well as creating them. New face to the Alnwick ranks this season he has fitted in well. Scott loves to get amongst the action as he has had plenty experience in the trenches.

Andrew Tate 19 Midfield. “Spud” is a very good prospect for the future and can go far. Andrew is a tremendous passer of the ball and reads the game well. A very strong tackler is Spud, he rives in as hard as a Tatty picker digging up the Potaties.

James Swordy 23 Forward. “Swordfish” is an awesome asset to Alnwick fc. A prolific scorer with pace that frightens defences to bits as he charges at them. The Fish is so laid back, if he lies back anymore he will be horizontal

Darren Coxford 37 Forward. “Cocker” is a class centre forward with bags of experience and plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Darren has raw pace and trains racing Dudek up and down the line. Just like wine is Cocker……gets better with age.

Stuart Bertram 21 Forward. “Stuey” Recently signed from Berwick Rangers this season and has had an instant impact to the team. Stu is quick and skilful and give him time he will destroy teams. He’s is as quiet as a mouse but show him the cheese and he will score.

Paul Lang 28 Forward. “Langy 88” in his 4 th season at the club and a very good player. Paul can play in midfield or attack and has a great footballing brain. 88 is a brilliant passer of the ball and tackles very hard. He has quick feet that he can transfer from the pitch to the dance floor with ease. He has been mistaken for an insect before with his very impressive Caterpillar move.

Steven Hutchins 17 Forward. “Hutch” is a young lad in his first season at club. Hutch can use both feet and has great vision for a pass. Loves the ball at his feet and can run at defences with speed. He slithers through opponents like a racing snake.

Malcolm Belisle 56 Manager. “Mac” is big influence on his players and has many years experience as manager under his belt. Has the club at his heart and works really hard to keep things at a high standard. Can be like a bag of semtex if needs be.

Peter Saunders 48 Assist/Coach. “Aggy” A real all rounder who still plays regular football…….at his age group that is. Peter has had many years of footballing knowledge stored in that old head of his and is doing a great job sharing it with us at training. What a dancer!
