All Saints' Parish Church, Hertford

Junior Church

Junior Church meets in St John's Hall at 9.45 every week except the first Sunday of the month when we all join in the Family Service at 11.30. You can be assured of a warm welcome for your children.

Additionally we run Activity Days during the October half-term, normally on the Friday. These are usually attended by between 100 and 110 children. Our last Activity day was on Friday 26th October, more information here

Thank you to all those who helped at the Flower and Music Festival and those who made miniature gardens. Well done everyone!

Thank you for painting and writing the harvest cards. We have had a number of letters from people who received them to say how glad they were to have such a lovely card!

Sunday October 21^st 9.45 a.m. Junior Church in St John's Hall and then into church.
Friday October 26^th 10.00 a.m. Our All Saints' Afghan Activity Day in St John's Hall. This will connect with our Junior Church project - Aschiana, the charity to help street children i Kabul. We do hope that you will be able to come. More information here.
Sunday October 28^th 9.45am. Junior Church in St John's Hall and then into Church. We shall be doing things connected with the Activity Day and then showing what we have made in Church.
Thursday November 1^st All Saints' Day. The licensing of the Rev Jo Loveridge as Priest-in-charge of All Saints' Church will be at 8.00 p.m. All are welcome to come.
Sunday November 4^th 9.45 a.m.. As it will be Jo Loveridge's first service she has decided to have a family communion at 10.00 am so there will be Junior Church in St John's Hall at 9.45 a.m. and then in to church. There will be NO FAMILY SERVICE this month.
Sunday November 4^th 4.30 p.m. Choral Evensong. 5.30 p.m. FIREWORK PARTY behind St John's Hall. Please bring one or two fireworks. There will be refreshments.
Sunday November 11^th Remembrance Sunday. There will be no Junior Church today. The service in Church at 11:30 a.m. is quite long and you may prefer to take children to the War Memorial in Parliament Square at about 10:40 a.m., where there will be a few prayers, a hymn, All Saints' Choir, all the uniformed organisations on Parade, two minutes silence and the last post. It is a very movinf occasion and not too long.
