All Saints Art

All Saints Art are a small, friendly group who meet at 7.30pm each Thursday in the Church meeting room and newcomers are always very welcome.

Our summer meetings have included flower paintings under the tuition of Lyn Bruce and some painting outside, although this was limited due to the wet weather and poor light. However, we have had a full and varied programme and some of the results of this are now on display in the Memorial Chapel where they were exhibited during the recent Festival of Flowers and Music.

During the Autumn we continue to have monthly tuition with Lyn Bruce when we are concentrating on portraits and life drawing. We shall also be arranging for one or two speakers to come along in the New Year and give illustrated talks on various artists and topics.

Our membership continues to expand but we still have room to accommodate another two people. We are a friendly group of people of all ability, and are pleased to welcome absolute beginners.
