We began life as a Concert Band in 1995 and, always struggling to get enough Flutes and Clarinets (would you believe!) morphed in 2002 into today's Big Band! Good move - we have 30 members this year (so rehearsals are fuller) and the revival in popularity of the music (thanks to Robbie!? etc) and our growing reputation means audiences are bigger and more enthusiastic.
We are also moving onward and upward - we have been invited to play in the fringe of the Guinness Cork International Jazz Festival 2007 and have reached the last 100 of the Britain's Got Talent competition - more later!
