Envelope Stories Make up an envelope of a variety of pictures for each group of girls. The idea is that they have to make up an imaginative story which includes all of the pictures. It can come up with some interesting conclusions!!
Envelope stories
Good pictures to put in the envelopes are cartoon caracters, food, trains and cars, places of interest. Make sure that you use picture that the girls will be familiar with otherwise it becomes less interesting for them. Especially younger girls.
Rabbit without a house!!
This game is from Brazil. It may take a while for people to get the hang of it but it really does work!!! Pick someone to be the Rabbit without a home. The others need to be in threes. Two girls making a home(arching their hands) and the other is the rabbit with a home.
Rabbit without a house
The caller yells 'Find a home' and all of the girls, including the one who has not got a home run round and find a different home. The last one without a home then becomes the Rabbit without a house!!
Split the group into two teams. Each side has 10 sticks (or anything else that is suitable). These are placed 10-12 inches apart like rungs of a ladder- one row in front of each team, and several feet away from each of the playes.
Lame chicken
The 1st Brownie is the 'lame chicken'. She must hop over these sticks without touching them. After hopping over them she picks up the last stick and hops back with it and places it at the beginning. The next Brownie becomes the 'lame chicken'.
For this game you will need washing up gloves, rubber bands, a pin, water, and a measuring jug. This is a halarious game where the girls compete to milk a cow!! First you take the pin and make a small hole in the thumbs of the rubber glove.
Milk the Cow!!
Fill the glove up with water and secure the end with a rubber band. The girls take it in turns to squeeze as much water as possible out of the glove. Set a time limit for them to do this in. It also helps if another person holds the glove. The winner is the group who manage to get most water into the measuring jug.
