Flatlands as its locally known, without justification has been voted the most boring place in England, obviously the people who made this decision never saw the changing landscapes. As well as inspiring a book it has the most amazing sky qualities. Admittedly a chance visit to this area would not allow the views to the left to be seen and you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place. The area is very large very flat and scarcely populated but it has its own unique beauty and tranquillity.
