Calderdale Trades Union Council is the representative organisation for trades unions in the Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council area of West Yorkshire.
We present trades unions in a positive light by contributing to the development of policies that better conditions for workers and residents of Calderdale. We do this through the Local Strategic Partnership, Calderdale Forward.
We also develop our own projects and at present we are concentrating on setting up workplace learning centres and on workforce development in partnership with others through the Learning and Earning Partnership. For more information please visit the site at www.laep.co.uk
