BEGINNERS COURSES The next Beginners' Course starts Friday 13th January and will be held at the club's Coventry venue. The course runs for six Fridays, on completion beginners will be invited to join the club and can fence on either of the regular club nights (Wednesdays - Warwick or Fridays - Coventry). Salle Ursa is a fencing club covering south Warwickshire and Coventry.
The club runs sessions at two venues - one at St Nicholas' park, Warwick, (formerly 'Warwick fencing club') the other at Foxford School, Coventry.

THE COURSE
This introduction course consists of group lessons of one hour, (maximum length 8 weeks) with all weapons and protective clothing provided. Tuition provided by Peter Rome coach to British and Irish National team members.Covers all aspects of fencing, including fitness, tactics and technique. Tuition includes warm-up, footwork lesson and weapons experience.

We have 2 fencing nights welcoming both adults and children, novices to national level. We supply the coaching, kit and equipment - our members bring fun!
